Board of County Commissioners
The Board is charged with setting policy to guide county programs that serve residents and businesses in Alamosa County.

Assessor
It is the duty of the Assessor to assess all property in Alamosa County in a fair and equitable manner in accordance with state guidelines.

Clerk & Recorder
The Clerk and Recorder's Office is responsible for register motor vehicles including titles, plates, permits, VIN inspections and more.

Emergency Management
Emergency Management provides leadership, planning, education, and resources to protect lives, property and the environment in the event of a disaster in Alamosa County.

The Facilities Management team works daily to provide Alamosa County employees and visitors with safe and comfortable working environment.

The Finance Department is responsible for the receipt and disbursement of Alamosa County's operating funds.

The Attorney's Office represents the board in all legal matters including the preparation of contracts and the prosecution and defense of lawsuits by and against the county.

Public Health is the branch of medicine concerned with the prevention and control of disease and the promotion of physical and mental health of individuals, families and the community.

Road & Bridge
The Road and Bridge Department maintains and repairs over 600 miles of paved, gravel, and graded roads in unincorporated Alamosa County.

Denver Air Connection is the provider of essential air service and flying as a United Airlines carrier.

Sheriff
The Alamosa County Sheriff's Office is responsible for law enforcement, investigations, and detention in unincorporated Alamosa County.

Treasurer & Public Trustee
The Treasurer is an elected official, serving a four year term of office, and is responsible for collecting property taxes, and disbursing taxes to the taxing authorities (school districts, cities/towns, the county, special districts, etc.)

Veterans Services
The Veterans Service Office is dedicated to serving Alamosa County Veterans. The goal of our office is to assist and provide our veteran residents and their dependents the range of services entitled under the law. Whenever possible, our office will support and advocate on behalf of veteran issues.
