Non-contact visits: all visits are subject to recording and monitoring.

Visits may be cancelled at any time.

Lockers are not available for use by visitors.

Current visiting schedule will be posted on the front doors of the lobby.

Rules and Regulations

Rules and Regulations for all visits:

  1. Web Visitation is Monday through Sundays:

    • Monday, 8 am to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
    • Tuesday, 3 pm to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
    • Wednesday, 8 am to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
    • Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
    • Friday, 8 am to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
    • Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
    • Sunday, 8 am to 4 pm - On-Site Visits Only
  3. All visits are 20 minutes in length.
  4. Visitation is on a first-come first-serve basis.
  5. All visits are recorded and monitored by the detention center staff.
  6. Individuals housed on Suicide Watch will not be allowed a visit without the express consent
    of the mental health unit.
  7. No visit will be approved for a person(s) who appear to be under the influence of drugs
    and/or alcohol.
  8. Any person(s) using profane language, nudity, or dressed in provocative/revealing clothing,
    or displaying disorderly behavior will not be admitted or asked to leave.
  9. Communication with inmates by written placard or hand signals outside of the facility will
    result in immediate cancellation of your visit to include your next visit.
  10. The following items are not allowed to be taken into the lobby booth: Cell phones, food,
    drink, weapons, and any item deemed inappropriate by a deputy sheriff. The Alamosa
    County Sheriff's Office is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
  11. Visitors introducing any type of contraband and/or any unauthorized item will be charged
    criminally and will result in the loss of visiting privileges.
  12. Anyone caught tampering with or damaging a video visiting device may face potential
    Felony Charges.
  13. Any visit may be terminated at any time at the discretion of the detention center staff.
  14. Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned rules may result in the loss of visiting
    privileges.
