The Alamosa County Clerk and Recorder's office acts as an agent for the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) in issuing Colorado birth certificates and death certificates. Any changes or corrections to a vital record must be done with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment.
Newly issued Birth & Death Records may be delayed due to Colorado's current processing time.
Do I need an Appointment?
The Alamosa County Clerk and Recorder are all walk-ins. No appointment is needed.
