Current and Prior Years Tax Notices

Prior Years Tax Notices have a New Home!

They are now listed on the Assessor's Property Search Website.


Property tax notices are mailed every year from the Alamosa County Treasurer's office by the end of January. Delinquent Tax Notices are mailed out starting July 1st.

If you have not received a tax statement for your property located in Alamosa County by early part of February, please contact our office at 719-589-3626, or follow the instructions below.

The property owner is still required to pay the property taxes even if they do not receive a tax notice. It is the responsibility of the property owner to find out how much the taxes are and make sure they are paid every year.

How to find tax notices

To find your tax notices please go to the Property Search link on this page. This link will take you to the Alamosa County Assessor's Property Search webpage where you can search using Owner Name, Location Address, Parcel Number, Legal Information, or Subdivision.

After selecting one of the search options you will be taken to a results page where matching properties can be identified with Parcel ID, Owner, Property Address, and City. 


Selecting a Parcel ID will take you to a page for the specific property. 


The last section on this page is the Tax Statement section where there are links for the Tax Notice for different years.

Choose which year you would like to view, and the tax notice should be downloaded.
