Meet the Treasurer/Public Trustee

Lois Widhalm, was elected to the position of Alamosa County Treasurer and Public Trustee on November 7, 2006. She has been serving in the position since her appointment on October 19, 2005.

Lois is a member of the Colorado County Treasurers' Association and the Colorado Public Trustees' Association.

Lois retired from Adams State College in 1999, following thirty years of service. She served as Program Specialist in the School of Education and Graduate Studies. Her experiences are extensive in the area of leadership, office management, implementation of policy, budget management, and supervision of employees. She has many years experience working with students, public school personnel and State and National entities.

Lois is married to Paul and they have three children and four grandchildren.
