Patrol Division

• Patrols roads throughout Alamosa County
• Serves Civil Papers in the County of Alamosa and within the Cities of Alamosa, Hooper, Waverly, and Mosca, Colorado
• Assists Federal, State and Local law enforcement when needed
• Provides residents of Alamosa County with Animal Control Ordinance enforcement
• Provides support for Search and Rescue and Dive operations

Sub-Divisions - Reserve Deputies

• Reserve Deputies hold police officer certifications one stage lower than regular basic police officers
• They can perform regular law enforcement operations on their own as long as they are working during a shift while a level one certified officer is on duty as well
• Can handle transports to and from the detention center throughout the State of Colorado
• Assist both Patrol and Detention Divisions when needed as well as search and rescue, and dive teams
• All duties are completed without compensation
