SHERIFF'S OFFICE > Investigation & Administration
The Investigative Division basically operates on a Monday to Friday 8:00 p.m. to
5:00 p.m. schedule, but is in no way limited to those times
This department handles request for Sexual Offender Lists.
The Investigative Division receives, processes and prepares application for Concealed Weapons Licenses for the Sheriff’s signature.
The administrative division is staffed by two people, and works a regular shift of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The prime function of the Administrative Division is to:
- Maintain the Records of reports submitted by the Patrol Division and be responsible to transfer said records to the District Attorney and elsewhere as needed.
- Receive, process, and prepare all civil process received by the department and deliver the same to the patrol division for service.
- Handle the department’s incoming communication and forward it to the proper division and or officer.
- Receive bills and process vouchers for the same.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Sheriff and Undersheriff as well as other members of the department
- Provide local Criminal History checks for the local military services recruiter
- Receive all orders from the court regarding the Sheriff’s Office as well as the detention center
