NURSING SERVICES > Public Health
Programs
Our Public Health programs provide disease prevention activities such as immunizations, communicable disease follow-up and education. We also host clinics for pediatric specialists who see children with special needs, and provide case management for these families.
The Nurse Family Partnership allows for at risk pregnant women to have close communication with a registered nurse through her baby’s second year of life. We offer home visits to all mothers with newborns. Child care consultation is provided to centers in Alamosa.
