LAND USE > Home
The Land Use office is the umbrella for the Department of Building Safety, Department of environmental Health and the Department of Planning and Zoning.
These departments ensure
that buildings and property meet the public health standards and
land use regulations as set forth by the Board of Alamosa County
Commissioners. These standards and regulations encompass all land
use development such as subdivisions, planning, and new construction.
All departments use on-site inspections and application reviews
to ensure that all regulations are met.
