Ron Goodman , County Jail

Ron Goodman has been a resident of Alamosa County for 25 years. He has been in law enforcement for 23 years with the last 10 being with Alamosa County. His first 3 years were in detention, then in the road division where he spent two years. At that time Ron was promoted to Sgt and transferred back to detention supervisor.

He moved here from Missouri in 1979. While in Missouri he worked for the St. Peters Police Department where he was patrol sergeant and detective for the department. Later, he went to work for the St. Charles County sheriff’s department working as a patrol officer and with the I.D. bureau processing crime scenes.

Ron attended college for two years and has taken numerous classes in all types of law. He was a Military Police Officer in the Army for three years and was stationed at Ft. Sill OK., Little Rock A.F.B. and Korea.
