The Human Resources Department is part of Alamosa County Administration and acts as a liaison for Elected Officials, Board of County Commissioners, Administration and approximately 250 employees.

The HR Coordinator also oversees job openings including advertising, receiving and screening of applications, and posting of all job opportunities. HR also manages the county’s personnel policies implementation and development. HR directs employee orientations, exit interviews and the employee compensation plan.
